Hey so I made this wand in the summer and totally forgot to post about it.
It’s made from a willow tree, the wand had been sanded, stained, and anointed with rosemary oil; I did some wood burning along the entire length of the wand and laid copper over top as it is a great metal for conducting energy. Then I got an array of Crystal’s (some which I already had) and glued/attached them on the bottom, top and along the handle. All of which was done by hand by me.
I wanted this wand to sort of represent me, I am a very firey person in all aspects including when it comes to magick and I wanted that to come across, but I also wanted it to be kind of a combo of fire and spirit.

Spell for Summoning a Domestic Familiar 🐾
*Long Post~Elaborate*
“A domestic familiar is an animal that stays with the Witch, provides magickal assistance and represents sacred nature. A Familiar is an animal you have a psychic connection with, or one that will help you with magick. A domestic familiar is sacred, a representation of the Goddess and God in living form. As a Witch, or as a Pagan, you have a heritage of a connection with nature, a spiritual connection with animals. Your pet is not necessarily a domestic Familiar, so don’t think that you can force your hamster into magickal service for you.”
“You can’t just go buy an animal and assume it will help make you a stronger, more powerful Witch. They can be rescued, found or borrowed (an occasional visit from your neighbor’s cat might have more meaning than you think), Domestic Familiars can be a pigeon you feed every day, the dog you’ve had since you were a child, or a cat that visits at dinner time. As long as the animal is willing, it can be trained as a domestic Familiar.Your domestic Familiar will find you, when you are ready. Don’t think that you can hide a dog from the landlord, a rat from your parents, or a cat from your children. If you don’t have an animal in your life who may become your domestic Familiar, you can call one. But remember, it’s their choice to reveal themselves. You’ll know instinctively.”
The following is a spell I have devised and will try myself. (Note, I have taken some of the spell wording/following chant from modern media but honestly if the words work and the intention is in your heart, then it’ll work, whether you heard it on a show, read it in a book, or are using someone else’s words, your intentions must be pure. Then all you have to do is believe.)
What you will need:
- Few pieces of paper & pen/pencil📃🖋(I say a few, for mistakes, we know it happens, lol)
- Utensil to write in the dirt with (twig/opposite end of pen, etc. *writing with your finger is also acceptable👍🏼)
- A mixture of the following herbs:
Sage: Healing, Protection, Wisdom, Wishes, Health, Immortality
Blessed Thistle: Spiritual Aid, Protection
Horehound: Mental Powers, Protection, Healing, Exorcism
Shepherd’s Purse: Spells & Rituals, Healing
Agrimony: Protection, Sleep
Yarrow: Divination, Psychic Powers, Courage, Love
Wormwood: Calling Spirits, Divination, Love, Protection, Psychic Powers
Dandelion: Calling spirits, Divination, Wishes
Spearmint Leaf: Augmenting Power, Healing Love, Luck, Strength, Sleep
Alfalfa Leaf: Magic (also, random, but used for: anti-hunger, as well as money/prosperity magic)
Bay Leaf: Visions, Dreams, Healing, Psychic Powers, Repels Negative Energy
White Willow Bark: Divination, Healing, Love, Protection
Kelp: Travel Protection (so your Familiar arrives safely😉)
Catnip: Friendship, Happiness, Joy, Love, Beauty (dont worry, if you dont want a cat, this is mainly for Friendship, Happiness and Joy, yes it can be used for cat magic but if you want a dog or a fish or reptile, this will still be good because you are trying to form a bond)
Sea Salt: Purification, Protection

Sigil Meaning: “My Domestic Familiar Will Find Me”
🙌🏼Repeat the following chant as you imagine your familiar finding you. (If you have a specific animal preference, picture it. Imagine your Familiar finding you and what kind of bond you want to have. Be clear that this is for your Domestic Familiar…you don’t want just any spirit showing up.🤷♀️)
“Spirits of the forest*, I pronounce my intentions to thee. I ask my hearts familiar Come forth and seek me and equals we will be. Not master and servant but familiar to familiar, to share our knowledge, our spirit, and our traits. To guide one another in this journey. Come forth sweet familiar, and equals we will be. So mote it be.”
*You may change “Forest” to, “Earth, Air, Water and Fire”~ if you do not have an idea or preference of what kind of Familiar you want. For example if you would like a land animal (cat, dog, rabbit, etc) you can use Forest/Earth, if you’d like a bird-Air, Fish- Water, Dragon (more like a reptile/lizard, sorry, we dont get cool dragons like in Game of Thrones, lol)-Fire, and so on.
*if you want an insect I’d research the correct element that is associated, could be air, could be earth, etc.. Always, Always do your research! No one is perfect and sometimes people get things wrong, but researching does help when you’re unsure!
Seal the spell by the corresponding action. For example, again if you have a *preference of animal, you will dispense the herbs in one of the following ways:
Earth- bury the elements🌱
Air- Throw them to the wind🌪
Water- Dispense in a body of water💧
Fire- Throw the elements into a fire**🕯
🔥**Always remember Fire Safety~especially since you’ll be outside, for this I’d say bring an ashtray to burn the paper safely and once the flame is completely out and the paper is ash *do not burn your fingers*, throw them to the wind**🔥
*If no preference of animal, choose the way that speaks to you most and dispense the herbs in that way.
☆Also, please be reasonable about what you ask, as well as reasonable about what you can keep in your home. I’m sorry but I can’t help you explain to your parent why you need a comodo dragon as your familiar…and also, sorry but, you will not have a unicorn, talking animal that tells jokes, or a hippogryph showing up, so again, keep it reasonable.😉
Once the spell is complete, let the spirits work, let the spell do its work~ keep an open heart and mind, understand your Familiar will not just appear instantaneously, give it time, understand there is an instinctual process and response and your Familiar will come. Something inside will tell you this is them.
🌟Remember when you do find your Familiar/your Familiar finds you, this is your equal, treat them as such, Never harm your Familiar. Do not force your Familiar to engage in magic with you, they know what they need and sometimes what you need. They will participate at will, but when they do you will know why they are you Familiar, you can just feel it in your heart.🌟
Listen, observe, Pay Attention to them. And your bond will be incomparable.💞

A Cernosian Ritual: Dedicated to the power of the Horned Masculine
The Cernunnos Ritual is used for gaining strength, healing, virility/fertility and male empowerment. It may also be used at Imbolc or Beltaine . It is sexual, powerful and affirming of the masculine divine.
Needed:
Cernunnos Oil (recipe below) or pure Mineral Oil
Ceremonial figure representing Cernunnos
Cernunnos Incense
Leather or suede alter covering
Natural drinking horn
Wooden or tree-formed table/surface to serve as Altar
Mead or Ale
A red or flesh coloured candle (male organ candle preferred)
Antlers & horns
Leather findings
Phalli, phallic ephemera & erotic objects
Antlered headdress (optional)
Torque (optional)
Leather or suede loincloth (or jockstrap) (optional)
Cloak or robe (possibly leather) (optional)
Perform in nature if possible and weather appropriate. Drape your altar in leather (hides) and seek to employ a surface made of wood. Prepare it in an ordinary manner including ceremonial figure, antlers, horns, leather objects, phalli and/or other objects of sexual/masculine representation and significance to the virile spirit and arousal enhancement. Your libation vessel will be a drinking horn in which you should have a masculine drink, such as mead or a favoured ale. To enhance the nature of your spirit seek to adorn yourself with an antlered headdress and neck torque (if you have them) and a leather or suede loincloth or strap. While you may choose to enter robed (not essential but respectful), you should be barefooted, unshaven and unbathed - cloaked in your own essences and pheromones, what some call “Le Fauve.” Translated this means “the animal” and today may be termed “mansmells” which emit from the skin and hair through perspiration & oil and are typically associated with the armpits, crotch, pubic hair, anal/perineum areas & feet. In other words, be natural, unscented and unscrubbed.
Sanctify the ceremonial space then remove your robe/cloak. Seek a receptive spirit through preparation by sitting before the altar in the ‘Cernunnos Posture’. Take a few moments to ground and center yourself. Once you feel ready to proceed, light the candle to signify the divine presence and recite the following invocation:
“Gracious Cernunnos, Mighty Lord of the Woods and Animals, I ask you to be present in this sacred circle with me. From this rite may I gain from you strength (or healing etc.). Mighty Cernunnos I ask you to descend down upon me here, as I come before you; fill me with your powers, may you flow through my veins, my body, my penis (organ) & my seed”.
Remove your loincloth/strap (retaining headdress and torque if used) and light the Cernunnos incense. Now skyclad, waft the smoke over & around you, breathing its scent and smudging your body. Throughout the ritual ensure there is always incense burning, as an offering & a prayer to enhance the ritual mindset & to help induce a trance state:
“I light this incense,this sacred smoke to entice the god, to draw Him here and to please Him”
Next, pick up the knife with your right hand and trace the Horned God Symbol through the liquid in the horn. Lay the knife down upon the altar and recite:
“Cernunnos, Lend me now your strength Mighty Lord of all the woods Mighty Lord of the Animal Realm Cernunnos, Lend me now your strength”
Now begins the act whereby you will stimulate your self to erection (if not already achieved) and begin masturbating. The above chant is repeated over and over again throughout the act.The visualization is of Cernunnos, mighty and strong before you. He is naked, walking through the woods, masculine and powerful. He leads you through the woods to his presence. Proceed into full-on masturbation with intention toward mounting pleasure - slowly at first then building. You may employ whatever special ways you have for self-pleasuring using techniques to assure that you achieve a maximum-strength orgasm and that as much semen as possible will be ejaculated. Touch & caress your augmentation (erogenous) points, edging and building your orgasm. Feel the erection filling in your hand with Cernunnos’ power; think of how masculine the erection is, what power it holds and of the potency and miraculous nature of your semen.
You will now be reaching orgasm and must prepare for collection. At the point of ejaculation lower your penis into the horn, penetrating into the libation while you ejaculate. Cernunnos’ energy flows through you and into the liquid. The semen is not only yours but Cernunnos’ as well. Rub your penis until all semen is milked into the libation. With the knife stir the two liquids together & then say:
“Cernunnos, sacred to our ancestors, in this Rite I touch upon your sacred powers and mystery. You brought our ancestors fertility, strength, healing, protection and life. Bless and infuse your sacred powers into this drink, that carries in it my sacred seed - your sacred seed. Fill me with your life force, your energy”.
The sacred liquid is then consumed ~
